What granite colours can you get at Euro Marble?
Granite covers a far wider colour range than most people expect, and we stock the full spread – from dense, classic blacks through to rare blues and greens you simply won’t find in most Sydney showrooms. We present the range by colour family, because that’s how people picture it:
Blacks -Nero Assoluto is the classic: a deep, dense, low-maintenance black that suits almost any kitchen. We also carry Mystic Black and Leather Granite, the latter with a soft, textured leathered finish that hides marks beautifully.
Blues -this is where granite gets exciting. Azul Bahia is a genuinely rare, vivid blue -a statement stone in the truest sense -alongside Azul Macubas, Blue Volga and Blue Eyes.
Greens -Amazonite, Turquoise Green and Verde Maritaka bring natural colour that engineered products can’t replicate.
Golds and browns -Giallo Antico, Juparana Bahia and Swedish Mahogany, warm tones that work beautifully with timber and brass.
Statement stones -Titanium, a dramatic black laced with white and gold crystallisation, and Arturo.

Is granite a good choice for a busy kitchen?
Honestly, it’s one of the best. Granite is among the hardest natural stones you can put in a home – it shrugs off heat, resists scratches, and copes with the daily knocks of a working family kitchen far better than softer stones like marble. You can set a hot pan down without a second thought, and it holds its surface for decades.
Finish changes the feel as much as colour does. A polished granite reflects light and deepens the colour; a honed finish is softer and more matte; a leathered finish adds subtle texture and is brilliant at disguising fingerprints and water marks. We’ll talk you through which finish suits your stone and your space. Granite’s toughness also makes it one of the few benchtop materials genuinely happy outdoors -in a BBQ area or alfresco kitchen.
Where can you use granite benchtops around the home?
Kitchen benchtops and islands are the most common request, but granite goes a lot further than that. We supply and install it for bathroom vanities, splashbacks, outdoor kitchens and BBQ areas, fireplaces, flooring and wall cladding. What’s the difference between natural granite and engineered stone?
Natural granite comes out of the ground, so every slab is one of a kind in its colour, grain and movement. Engineered stone is a manufactured composite -hard and consistent, but identical from one slab to the next, without the depth or character of the real thing. Granite also handles sunlight and heat in ways some engineered products don’t, which is part of why it suits outdoor use.
We work only in natural stone, and that’s a deliberate choice. Every benchtop we supply is the genuine material, sourced directly through long-standing quarry relationships.
Does Euro Marble cut and install granite, or just supply it?
We do both – and everything in between. It surprises people, because plenty of suppliers never touch the stone again once it leaves the warehouse, leaving you to find your own stonemason and your own fitter. We keep the whole job in one place.
We do all our own stonework in-house on 5-axis CNC and waterjet machines at the Marrickville workshop, which opens up custom edge profiles, mitred edges, waterfall ends, fine cut-outs and curved or bookmatched work that supply-only operators can’t reliably pull off. Once your cabinetry’s in, we template on site, cut and finish your slab, then install it with our own stonemasons, seal it, and walk you through care before we sign off. Natural stone lasts decades, so we can also come back to clean, polish or repair it down the track if you need us. How much do granite benchtops cost in Sydney?
The honest answer is that it depends – and any supplier who quotes you a flat per-metre price before seeing your project is guessing. A granite benchtop price turns on the stone you choose (the rare blues and greens sit higher than the classic blacks), the slab thickness, the edge profile, how many cut-outs you need, whether you want a waterfall end or a splashback, and how straightforward the install is.
Rather than a template price, we sit down with your actual project -the stone, the space, the budget -and build a quote around it. The figure we give you is fixed and covers the lot: supply, templating, cutting, edging, sealing and installation. Can you see granite slabs in person before you buy?
You can. A photo never quite catches how granite’s grain and colour shift as the light changes through the day. In our showroom the slabs stand full-size in natural light, so you can stand next to the exact piece that’s going to become your benchtop and reserve that one slab in your name.
