Why Euro Marble Is Sydney’s Most Trusted Marble Supplier

There are many ways to source marble in Sydney. What sets Euro Marble apart is not just the breadth of the collection — it is the combination of sourcing heritage, in-house fabrication capability and end-to-end accountability that few suppliers in this market can match.

Euro Marble has been supplying and installing natural marble in Sydney for over 35 years, building direct relationships with quarries across Italy, Greece and Turkey. That sourcing history means consistent access to the most sought-after Italian marble varieties — including multiple Calacatta variants — and the expertise to advise clients on material, finish and application with genuine authority.

The Marrickville showroom is open to architects, interior designers, builders and homeowners. Full-size slabs are displayed upright in natural light, so clients can see exactly how a stone’s veining, tone and depth will read in a finished space — before a single measurement is taken. Completed projects span Sydney’s most prestigious residential suburbs, including Bronte, Point Piper, Vaucluse, Rose Bay, Mosman, Hunters Hill and Double Bay.

Fabrication is handled entirely in-house using 5-axis CNC machinery and waterjet cutting equipment, enabling precision profiles and complex shapes that supply-only operators cannot produce. Installation is carried out by the same team — removing the coordination risk that comes with engaging a separate supplier, fabricator and installer.

The Euro Marble Range — Italian and International Marble Slabs

As a marble slab supplier in Sydney, Euro Marble stocks over 150 variations of natural stone, with marble forming the centrepiece of the collection. The range covers white, black, grey and statement varieties sourced primarily from Italy, with select stones from Spain, Greece and Turkey.

White marbles are the most-requested category for Sydney kitchens and bathrooms.

Carrara

carrara c sample

A soft white-grey background with fine, feathery veining — approachable, classic and enduringly popular for marble benchtops in Sydney homes that want a quieter, lived-in aesthetic.

Calacatta

Calacatta Vagli Sample

Brighter and bolder, with dramatic grey or gold veining that commands attention on a kitchen island or splashback. Euro Marble carries multiple Calacatta variants including Calacatta Oro, Calacatta Borghini and Calacatta Vagli.

Statuario

STATUARIO VENATO

Considered the most prestigious of the white marbles — a pure white background with striking grey-gold veining and a crisp, high-contrast finish.

Ariston

Ariston marble 600x600 1

Also known as Statuarietto, Ariston sits between Carrara and Calacatta in character, offering a softer veining pattern at a more accessible price point. Black marbles bring depth and drama to kitchens, bathrooms and feature walls.

Nero Marquina

Deep black with sharp white veining, sourced from Spain — the most widely specified black marble in Sydney.

Nuova Portoro

Applications — Where Euro Marble Supplies Marble in Sydney

Natural marble is one of the most versatile materials in residential and commercial design. Euro Marble supplies and installs marble across the full range of interior applications, with each surface fabricated to specification in its Marrickville workshop.

Marble kitchen benchtops remain the single most-requested application — particularly Calacatta and Carrara for island benches and perimeter surfaces. Marble bathroom vanity benchtops are the second most common request, with Statuario and Arabescato popular choices for ensuite and main bathroom renovations across Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Splashbacks, feature walls, stone flooring, staircases, fireplaces and outdoor pavers are all within Euro Marble’s fabrication and installation scope. For broader project-grade marble benchtops in Sydney, the same in-house team handles brief, slab and installation under one roof.

Marble Supply for Architects, Designers and Builders in Sydney

Euro Marble is a preferred supplier for architects and interior designers working on high-end residential and commercial projects across Sydney. The showroom consultation process is designed around the needs of trade clients — slab viewing by appointment, project-specific slab reservations, and a fabrication team capable of executing to tight tolerances and complex specifications.

The in-house 5-axis CNC and waterjet machinery supports custom profiles, curved edges, bookmatched panels and precision cut-outs that standard fabricators cannot reliably produce. For trade clients managing multiple projects, Euro Marble’s single-supplier model — supply, fabricate, install — reduces the number of contractors on site and consolidates accountability into one relationship.

Project types include luxury residential renovations, apartment developments, commercial fit-outs and hospitality projects across Sydney and surrounding regions.

How Euro Marble Compares to Other Marble Suppliers in Sydney

Sydney’s marble supplier market spans a wide spectrum — from large-format wholesalers distributing stone at volume, to boutique slab galleries focused purely on supply, to full-service fabricators and installers. Each model serves a different need.

Supply-only showrooms offer a broad viewing experience and competitive pricing, but the client is responsible for coordinating a separate fabricator and installer — introducing additional cost, risk and project management overhead. Large wholesalers prioritise volume and breadth, but rarely offer the slab-level curation or installation expertise that a high-end residential project demands. Euro Marble occupies a distinct position: a heritage supplier with over 35 years of continuous Sydney operation, a curated marble collection of 150+ variants, and an in-house fabrication and installation team operating from the same Marrickville address. The result is a single point of accountability from slab selection through to a sealed, installed benchtop.

Euro Marble holds a 4.9-star Google rating — the strongest among comparable full-service marble suppliers in the Sydney market.

In-House Fabrication and Installation — From Slab to Finished Surface

Sourcing the right marble slab is only half of the project. How it is cut, profiled, polished and installed determines whether the finished surface matches the vision the client had in the showroom.

Euro Marble’s fabrication workshop at Marrickville operates 5-axis CNC machinery and waterjet cutting equipment, enabling precision fabrication for any shape, profile or edge detail. Complex custom work — curved island benches, bookmatched feature walls, intricate staircases — is within the team’s standard capability. Nothing is outsourced to third-party fabricators.

Installation is carried out by Euro Marble’s own stonemasons, who seal the surface and provide a full care walk-through before signing off every project. For full details, visit the fabrication and installation services page.

Selecting marble is a decision that should be made in person. Photographs and digital renders cannot replicate the way natural stone reads in real light — the depth of the veining, the warmth of the background tone, the surface texture under a honed or polished finish. The Euro Marble showroom displays full-size slabs upright in natural light, so clients can make that decision with complete confidence.

The showroom is located at 11 Rich Street, Marrickville NSW 2204 and is open to both trade and residential clients.

Where to Buy Marble Benchtops in Sydney

Where to Buy Marble Benchtops in Sydney

If you’re looking for marble benchtops in Sydney, the answer is EuroMarble. For over 35 years, EuroMarble has been supplying, fabricating and installing natural marble benchtops for Sydney homeowners, architects and interior designers from its showroom and workshop at 11 Rich Street, Marrickville. With one of Sydney’s largest curated ranges of European marble — over 150 stone variants — and a single in-house team handling everything from slab selection through to installation, EuroMarble is where serious buyers come first.

Visit the showroom to hand-pick your slab in person, or browse the marble benchtops collection online before you come in.

Why EuroMarble Is Sydney’s Home for Marble Benchtops

Marble is a natural product. Two slabs of the same variety can vary in veining, tone and density — which is why where you buy matters as much as what you buy. EuroMarble is built around five things that make a real difference once your benchtop is installed.

You Hand-Pick the Actual Slab

Every marble slab in the EuroMarble showroom is full-size and individually selected. You walk the showroom, choose the exact piece that becomes your kitchen, and reserve it on the spot. No catalogue surprises, no thumbnail guesswork.

Direct European Supply

EuroMarble has long-standing relationships with quarries across Italy, Greece and Turkey. That means consistent access to the most sought-after varieties — Calacatta, Statuario, Carrara, Arabescato, Travertine and more — and it means the marble is genuine, not a manufactured lookalike.

Everything Done In-House

Templating, cutting, polishing, edging and installation are all handled by EuroMarble’s own stonemasons using precision CNC and waterjet fabrication equipment. Nothing is outsourced. One team, one point of accountability, from your first showroom visit through to the day your benchtop is signed off.

Project-Grade for Residential Clients

Architects and interior designers across Sydney — from Bronte and Vaucluse to Mosman and Double Bay — use EuroMarble for high-end residential projects. Whether the brief is a single marble bathroom vanity benchtop or a full marble kitchen benchtop in Sydney’s most prestigious suburbs, the same care goes into every piece. The team treats every project as one-of-one because every slab is.

Honest Care Advice

Marble is a natural stone that lives differently to engineered stone. Before your project is signed off, you’re walked through how to seal it, how to clean it, and how to live with it so it ages beautifully — not badly.

The Marble Varieties in the EuroMarble Showroom

Different marbles suit different homes. The EuroMarble showroom carries the most-requested varieties for Sydney kitchens and bathrooms, plus rarer one-off slabs for buyers wanting something distinctive.

Calacatta

calacatta manhattan 1

A bright white background with bold, dramatic grey or gold veining. The classic statement marble for a kitchen island bench, a marble splashback in Sydney’s eastern-suburbs homes, or a marble bathroom vanity. EuroMarble carries Calacatta Oro, Calacatta Borghini and Calacatta Vagli among others.

Statuario

STATUARIO VENATO

Crisp white background with sharp, defined veining. A premium choice for kitchens and vanities that want maximum contrast and a bright, gallery-like finish.

Carrara

carrara c sample

Soft white-grey background with finer, feathery veining. A more understated, lived-in look — and the marble most often associated with classic Italian kitchens.

Arabescato

Arabescato Marble

Pearly white with intricate, web-like veining. A timeless and slightly more textured alternative to Calacatta, popular for both kitchen benchtops and a marble splashback in Sydney renovations.

Travertine

White Travertine

Warmer cream-and-beige tones with a softer character. Increasingly popular for kitchen islands, splashbacks and feature walls across Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Natural Marble vs Engineered Stone: Why It Matters

Sydney homeowners increasingly ask about the difference between natural marble and engineered stone benchtops. Natural marble is quarried directly from the earth — each slab is genuinely unique in its veining, movement and tone. Engineered stone is a manufactured composite, and while it offers consistency and hardness, it does not carry the same visual depth, material prestige, or long-term appreciation that natural marble does. EuroMarble specialises exclusively in natural stone, which means every benchtop it supplies and installs is the real thing — sourced directly from European quarries, not replicated in a factory.

The EuroMarble Process, From Showroom to Installed Benchtop

Buying a marble benchtop should feel considered, not chaotic. EuroMarble runs the same five-step process for every project.

  • Showroom visit. You meet the team, walk the showroom and hand-pick your slab. Bring your kitchen plans if you have them — if not, a designer will guide you through what works for your space.
  • Slab reserved. The exact slab you choose is reserved in your name. No one else can buy that piece. You’ll know precisely what’s going into your kitchen.
  • Templating. Once your cabinetry is installed, the EuroMarble team comes on site to template the benchtop digitally — capturing every measurement, cut-out and edge profile.
  • Fabrication. Your slab is cut, polished, edged and finished in EuroMarble’s own workshop by experienced stonemasons using CNC and waterjet machinery. Nothing is outsourced.
  • Installation and care walk-through. The same team installs your benchtop, seals it, and walks you through how to clean and maintain your marble so it ages beautifully.

Installed marble benchtop prices in Sydney typically range from around $700 to $2,500+ per square metre depending on the variety, slab thickness, edge profile, cut-outs and complexity of installation. Premium Calacatta and Statuario sit at the top end. EuroMarble provides fully installed quotes that include templating, cut-outs, edge profile, sealing, delivery and installation — so the number you see is the number you pay.

Calacatta and Carrara are the most-requested marbles in Sydney kitchens, followed by Statuario for buyers wanting brighter whites with more dramatic veining. Honed finishes are increasingly popular because they reduce the visibility of the small etch marks that come with using natural marble in a working kitchen.

Once cabinetry is installed and final approval is signed off, EuroMarble typically templates within a week and has the benchtop fabricated and installed within one to three weeks. Bespoke veining matches or rare slabs can extend that timeline.

Yes. Marble is porous and will absorb spills if it isn’t sealed. EuroMarble applies a quality penetrating sealer at installation, which protects the surface for six to twelve months between re-applications. The team walks you through care and re-sealing before signing your project off.

Yes — and you should. No two slabs of natural marble are identical, so a showroom visit is the only way to truly know what you’re buying. Book a visit to the EuroMarble showroom at Marrickville to view full slabs in natural light.

Sydney’s Natural Stone Supplier for Over 35 Years

Euro Marble has been sourcing, fabricating and installing natural stone in Sydney for over 35 years. What began as a marble specialist has grown into one of Sydney’s most comprehensive natural stone operations — covering eight material categories, over 150 stone variants, and a full fabrication and installation service run entirely in-house from the Marrickville workshop.

The business is family-run, built on direct relationships with quarries across Italy, Greece, Turkey, Spain and beyond. That sourcing heritage means the collection is curated by people who have spent decades handling natural stone — not assembled from a wholesale catalogue. Every slab in the showroom has been selected on its merits: the quality of the veining, the consistency of the background, the integrity of the stone itself.

Architects, interior designers, builders and homeowners across Sydney use Euro Marble for projects ranging from single bathroom vanities to full architectural installations. Completed residential projects span Bronte, Point Piper, Vaucluse, Rose Bay, Mosman, Hunters Hill, Whale Beach and Double Bay.

Our Natural Stone Range

Euro Marble stocks natural stone across eight material categories, with every variety available for viewing in full-slab format at the Marrickville showroom.

Marble

marble

Marble is the centrepiece of the Euro Marble collection — white, black, grey and statement varieties sourced primarily from Italy, with select stones from Spain and Greece. The range includes Carrara, Calacatta (multiple variants), Statuario, Ariston, Nero Marquina, Portoro, Tundra Grey, Bardiglio, Paonazzo and more. Marble remains the most-requested material for Sydney kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities, splashbacks and feature walls.

Granite

granite

As an established granite supplier in Sydney, Euro Marble offers one of the hardest and most heat-resistant natural stones available, making granite well-suited to kitchen benchtops, outdoor paving and high-traffic commercial surfaces. The granite range covers a spectrum of colours and grain profiles for both interior and exterior applications.

Quartzite

quartzite

Quartzite is a naturally non-porous stone that has grown significantly in popularity as an alternative to marble for high-use kitchen surfaces. Its hardness and resistance to etching make it a practical choice for clients who want the aesthetic of natural stone without the maintenance demands of marble. View the quartzite collection.

Travertine

travertine

As a travertine supplier in Sydney, Euro Marble brings warm, earthy tones to flooring, feature walls, bathroom applications and outdoor pavers. The collection stocks Travertine Navona, Travertine Noce, Silver Travertine and Titanium Travertine — each with distinct tonal and textural character.

Onyx

onyx

Onyx is one of the most dramatic natural stones in the Euro Marble collection — translucent, with richly coloured veining that illuminates when backlit. Euro Marble stocks Black Onyx, Blue Onyx, Cappuccino Onyx, Honey Onyx and Wild Onyx, used most often for feature walls, vanity tops and lighting applications. View the full onyx collection.

Limestone

limestone

Limestone offers a refined, neutral aesthetic suited to stone flooring, wall cladding and exterior applications. Its softer tonal character makes it a popular choice for Mediterranean and coastal-inspired interiors.

Dolomite

dolomite

Dolomite is often specified as a marble alternative for kitchen benchtops — it carries a similar visual character to marble but is harder and more resistant to etching. Super White Dolomite and Calacatta Dolomite are among the most requested variants in Euro Marble’s collection.

Semi-Precious Stone

semi precious

Semi-Precious Stone represents the most distinctive end of the Euro Marble range — rare stones including Travertine Onyx sourced from Iran, used for luxury feature applications where no two surfaces will ever be the same.

Unique Stone Products — Stone on Glass and Stone on Aluminium

Beyond the standard slab collection, Euro Marble produces two proprietary stone products not widely available from other Sydney suppliers.

Stone on Glass is produced by milling marble, granite or limestone to a few millimetres in thickness and laminating it onto a rigid glass backing. The result is a translucent stone panel that transmits natural or artificial light, expanding the range of lighting and feature wall applications well beyond what traditional onyx can achieve. Stone on Aluminium uses a similar principle — stone veneers bonded to an aluminium honeycomb sub-structure — producing lightweight cladding panels suited to large-format architectural applications where full-weight stone is structurally impractical.

Both products are fabricated in-house at the Marrickville workshop and are available for both residential and commercial projects.

Contact the team to discuss specifications and applications.

What Sets Euro Marble Apart from Other Natural Stone Suppliers in Sydney

Sydney’s natural stone market is active and competitive, with operators ranging from large-format importers distributing stone at volume, to boutique slab galleries focused on supply only, to full-service fabricators and installers. The distinction that matters most for architects, builders and homeowners is whether a supplier can also fabricate and install to the required standard — and how long they have been doing it.

Many Sydney stone suppliers operate as supply-only showrooms or wholesale distributors. They offer broad ranges and accessible pricing, but the client takes on the responsibility of coordinating a separate fabricator and installer. Euro Marble’s model is different. As a full-service stone supplier in Sydney with over 35 years of continuous operation, 150+ stone variants, in-house 5-axis CNC fabrication and a professional installation team, Euro Marble removes that coordination burden entirely. One supplier manages the project from slab selection at the Marrickville showroom through to a sealed, professionally installed surface — with a single team accountable for the outcome.

Euro Marble holds a 4.9-star Google rating, the strongest among comparable full-service natural stone suppliers in the Sydney market.

Stone Supply, Fabrication and Installation — All Under One Roof

Sourcing the right stone slab is the beginning of a project, not the end of one. How it is cut, shaped, polished and installed determines whether the finished surface matches the material’s potential.

Euro Marble’s Marrickville fabrication workshop operates 5-axis CNC machinery and waterjet cutting equipment, enabling precision work for any shape, edge profile or surface complexity. Curved benchtops, bookmatched feature panels, intricate staircases and custom architectural elements are within the team’s standard capability — work that supply-only operators and standard fabricators cannot reliably produce. Installation is carried out by Euro Marble’s own stonemasons, with a full care walk-through completed before every project is signed off. Visit the fabrication and installation services page for further detail.

Supplying Architects, Interior Designers and Builders Across Sydney

Euro Marble has a strong trade client base built over 35 years of Sydney project delivery. As a natural stone supplier NSW-wide, the team works with architects and interior designers on high-end residential renovations, luxury apartment developments, commercial fit-outs and hospitality projects — covering slab selection, specification support and end-to-end fabrication and installation.

The showroom consultation process is structured around the needs of trade clients — project-specific slab reservations, detailed material specifications, fabrication timelines that integrate with broader construction programmes, and a team with the experience to advise on material selection, stone behaviour and installation requirements at a technical level.

Marble is the most visually distinctive option but requires regular sealing and is susceptible to etching from acids. Dolomite sits between the two — similar in appearance to marble but harder and less prone to etching, making it a popular practical alternative.
