Why buy your marble from Euro Marble?

Choosing marble should be the exciting part, not the risky one. The stone is natural, so every slab carries its own veining, tone and movement — no two are ever the same — and the real difference comes down to who helps you choose it and what they do with it next. At Euro Marble that means one team, from the slab you fall for on the showroom floor to the finished surface in your home.

You hand-pick the actual slab

Every marble slab in our showroom is full-size and individually selected. You walk the floor, choose the exact piece that becomes your kitchen or bathroom, and we reserve it in your name. No catalogue guesswork, no thumbnail surprises.

Marble sourced directly from Europe

We hold long-standing relationships with quarries across Italy, Greece and Turkey, and members of our team travel to Carrara to choose stone at the source. That means genuine access to the most sought-after varieties, and marble that is the real thing, not a manufactured lookalike.

Everything done in-house

Templating, cutting, profiling, polishing and installation are all handled by our own stonemasons on 5-axis CNC and waterjet machinery at Marrickville. Nothing is outsourced, so one team stays accountable from your first showroom visit through to the day your benchtop is signed off.

Project-grade for homes and trade

Architects, interior designers and builders across Sydney, from Bronte and Vaucluse to Mosman and Double Bay, use Euro Marble for high-end residential work. Whether the brief is a single vanity or a full kitchen in one of Sydney’s most prestigious suburbs, the same care goes into every piece.

Honest advice on living with marble

Marble is a natural stone and it lives differently to engineered surfaces. Before we start, we will talk you through how a given marble seals, where it will reward you and where it might fight you. If a quartzite or dolomite would honestly suit your kitchen better, we will tell you so.

“Streets ahead of the other marble places in Sydney. They are very helpful with a great selection to choose from! Their stonemasons should be highly commended as they have great attention to detail when installing.” – Cat, Google review

“Evan and the team at Euro Marble absolutely saved the day on an urgent project when another supplier let us down. Euro Marble stepped in and delivered a superior product, rapid check measure and superb installation! Cannot recommend the Euro Marble team too highly.” – Kate Cato, Google review

Which marble varieties can you see in our Sydney showroom?

Different marbles suit different homes, and our showroom carries the full spectrum, from the most-requested whites to rare statement stones.

  • White marble remains the most popular choice for Sydney kitchens and bathrooms. The range runs from soft, classic Carrara to the brighter, bolder Calacatta variants and the prestigious Statuario, along with Arabescato, Ariston and Paonazzo.
  • Black and grey marble brings depth and drama, from Nero Marquina and Nuova Portoro through to the softer tones of our grey marble range.
  • Statement and coloured marble for buyers who want something rarer, including red marble such as Rosso Lepanto, gold marble and green varieties.

What is marble best suited to?

Marble is one of the most versatile natural stones, at home in almost any interior and, in the right settings, outdoors too. In Sydney homes we supply and install it for:

  • Kitchen benchtops and islands
  • Bathroom vanity tops and basins
  • Splashbacks and feature walls
  • Flooring, foyers and hallways
  • Fireplaces and mantels
  • Stairs and custom architectural pieces

With the right sealing and care, marble is hard-wearing and, unlike manufactured surfaces, can always be re-sanded and re-polished back to new. See the full list of uses on our kitchen benchtops and services pages.

Natural marble or engineered stone?

Sydney homeowners increasingly ask us about the difference. Natural marble is quarried directly from the earth, so every slab is genuinely unique in its veining and movement. Engineered stone is a manufactured composite, and while it offers consistency, it cannot match the depth, prestige or longevity of the real thing. We work only in natural stone, which means every marble surface we supply and install is genuine, sourced directly from European quarries.

What does marble cost in Sydney?

Marble price in Sydney depends on the variety you choose, the slab thickness, the edge profile, the cut-outs and the complexity of the install, so we do not publish a template price. We would rather quote your actual project. The figure we give you is fixed and covers the lot: supply, templating, cutting, edging, sealing and installation. The number we quote is the number you pay.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy marble in Sydney?

Euro Marble, at 11 Rich Street, Marrickville NSW 2204. Our showroom carries one of Sydney’s largest ranges of natural Italian marble, and our own team cuts and installs every project in-house. Visit the showroom or browse the range above.

Can I see the marble slabs before I buy?

Yes, and you should. No two slabs of natural marble are identical, so a showroom visit is the only way to know exactly what you are getting. Full slabs are displayed upright in natural light at Marrickville.

Does Euro Marble cut and install marble, or supply only?

We supply, fabricate and install. Templating, cutting, edging, polishing and installation are all done in-house by our own stonemasons, so one team is accountable from slab selection to the finished surface.

What is the most popular marble for Sydney kitchens?

Carrara and Calacatta are the most-requested, followed by Statuario for buyers wanting a brighter white with bolder veining. Honed finishes are increasingly popular because they soften the look of the small etch marks that come with using natural marble in a working kitchen.

Do I need to seal a marble benchtop?

Yes. Marble is porous and should be sealed. We apply a quality penetrating sealer at installation and walk you through care and re-sealing before signing your project off.
